SO - here are some pictures from our annual trip to see Santa! Harrison was VERY excited - but as you can see Millie was not so sure of this whole thing...

here's what happened as soon as we set her on Santa's lap!

Here are some pictures from Harrison's preschool Halloween parade... they all wore Noah's ark masks - Harrison was an elephant... but he had a little bit of a problem keeping his mask on...

We had 3 pumpkins outside for Halloween decorations... and of course HDG named them Thomas, Percy, and James... so one day while he was at school - I painted them! When he came home and saw them he almost wet his pants he was so excited!! Whenever we would leave the house he would have to kiss them goodbye - and sometimes when we were home he would just go out and sit with them! So cute...

North GA Apple Festival

So normally we take our annual trip to the North GA mountains in October - but due to all the October craziness - we postponed the trip to November... the only problem was that we weren't going to get to go to the annual Apple Festival... BOO! So even though Corey and Laura were busy - Nana, Papa, the kids and I took a day trip up there! The weather was incredible - and we had a great time walking around at the festival - then apple picking!

So Harrison's preschool class went on a little field trip to a "farm" not too far from us... it was kind of a nasty day - but we had a good time anyway! :)

Harrison's first trip to the dentist!

So I know most of my friend's kids have already been to the dentist - but I kept asking my dentist - and they said that as long as the kids take care of their teeth - and they're not having any problems - we didn't have to go until he was 4... so here we are - our first trip to the dentist!!!!

This was a very different experience for me.... see - I've gone to the same dentist my entire life!! Had the same hygienist my entire life... and my dentist office is very small! There are only 2 dentist - and 3 hygienist ... however Corey goes to one of those huge dentist offices - and since my dentist is about 30 miles away (that's right - don't judge... I only go twice a year so I don't mind the drive!) we just decided to go to Corey's dentist! When we walked in I was a little throw off - this place had a waiting room bigger than my entire dentist office.... then when they called us back I was REALLY thrown off by the super long hall - with about 50 hygienist "cubbies" - WOW!!! It was really crazy - I have literally never seen anything like it in my life! Anyway - that's not really important - Harrison had a great visit - and had NO CAVITIES!!! He even got his first fluoride treatment - and did a great job!!!

So at our park Harrison isn't really old enough to play soccer - but they have a program called the "little stars" where the kids come every Saturday for 6 weeks for a big practice - where they just get to come out and basically practice with their parents. It's really cute! Here are some pictures from his first "practice".

Addie and I wanted to throw a shower for Bailey and Brittoni - something fun - and laid back - and of course it had to involve football if we wanted the guys to come! :) So one Saturday in September we all got together at their new place - and had lots of food and lots of fun!

Labor Day weekend I went on a girls trip with some of my college girlfriends! Unfortunately Tropical Storm Lee decided to join us on the Gulf.... meaning we didn't really didn't get much beach time - but we had a great time just hanging out together! :) I'm not going to put many of our pictures up here... but here's our view from our balcony...

So remember a couple of months ago when we got Papa a couple laps around Atlanta Motor Speedway for his birthday? Well he "went racin'" at the end of July! Here are some pictures from the day!

4th of July

SO.... I kinda disappeared for a while... oops! :) But I'm back - and I have a LOT to catch up on! Lets start with the 4th of July weekend. As usual we went to Alabama to celebrate with Corey's grandparents and Aunt/Uncle/cousins... and of course the big event of the weekend was the kiddie carnival! Enjoy!

Wanna guess which kids was the first kid on the train for the year? That's right - HDG!

Here are some pictures from Millie's very first kiddie carnival ride... she was only 9 months old - so I'm not gonna lie - I was a little nervous!

But she had a great time - and right after that ride dad put her on the airplanes... she loved it!

We were there for opening day this year!

It was late in the night - and most of the kids had still gone home - but Harrison wanted to ride the "roller coster" again! I really like the finger wag too - he was telling Corey not to eat his cotton candy!

Since the big kids couldn't ride on the kiddie rides - they decided to play their own games... this was called Addie and Brittoni attack Bailey! It was pretty entertaining! :)

Trip to Nashville...

So I know this one is out of order - because I haven't even posted 4th of July pics yet... but I just had to post these! These are from our wonderful trip to Nashville last weekend! We went up there to visit some friends - the Prices - and of course see Aunt Addie - PLUS Aunt Brittoni and Uncle Bailey came too - so it was a weekend filled with good friends and family! :)

We got in on Friday night - and just decided to go to dinner and hang out at the Prices house - something calm and low key so we could just relax - and I decided that was my night off from the camera - so there are no pictures from that night! :)

Saturday we got up and went to James' parent's house (they have a pool) and our plan was just to hang out at the pool ALL day! It was the best idea EVER! We had tons of food - and fun - and we have the pictures to prove it...

Lyla is 17 months old - Millie is 9 months... Millie weighs about 3lbs more - and might have an inch on Lyla! The best part is that Lyla called her "baby" and tried to pick her up! :)

They're going to be great friends! :)

June - Part 2 - Adventure with Aunt Laura

Aunt Laura doesn't get much time off in the summer - so when she called and said she had a day off - and wanted us to come up and hang out - we said SURE! :) She had actually planned an "adventure" for Harrison - and he was SO excited!

This is him getting his first clue - that lead us to Berry...

and his second - that lead us out to a pond...

then he had to dig in the dirt and find "treasures" that Aunt Laura had planted

they were those little "pills" that when you put them in hot water they grow into shapes...

they're growing! Harrison was super excited!

They were bugs!

The next clue lead us to a stump that had little plastic lizards! Again Harrison LOVED it!

Next up Aunt Laura left some of those little parachute men in the trees....

I guess I forgot to take pictures of the end of the adventure - but this was from when we were all sitting around after the adventure and Harrison was shooting the water gun at everyone! :) He had a great time - thanks Aunt Laura! We love you!
